Maggie Chow

Maggie has been in the accounting/tax field since 1985.  She started as a Revenue Agent working for the IRS auditing self employed businesses, corporations and partnerships.  She has dealt with a variety of tax issues as an auditor.  She worked at a CPA firm in San Francisco for several years performing auditing of financial statements and tax return preparations.  Subsequent to working for the CPA firm, she worked in a private corporation handling tax planning, tax return preparation, financial statement preparation and IRS audit representation for high income individuals.  Her experience also included working in the tax department of Wells Fargo Bank handling multi state returns preparation for several years dealing with tax research on state presence, filing requirements of different states and the preparation of the bank’s various out of state income tax returns.

Maggie's present practice consists of audit representations, tax collection representation, which includes negotiations with the IRS on collection, evaluate on possibilities of offer to compromise and installment agreement set up.  Tax preparation as planning for individuals and businesses, new business consulting and monthly bookkeeping. 

 

Diana Lee

Diana Lee, a Tax Specialist, has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, providing tax services for various net worth individuals and their closely held businesses, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, estates and exempt organizations.  Her experience includes assisting clients with tax minimization strategies, estate and trust planning, as well as tax controversy issues.  Other services that she provides include personal & business tax planning and tax compliance.  Her past experiences include oil and gas accounting and taxation, real estate taxation and auditing of various manufacturing & service industries, as well as a nonprofit organization.

Diana started her career in the early eighties as a staff accountant in a large local firm in Houston, Texas, and after marrying a Californian, she moved to the Bay Area and worked for a national CPA firm and became a tax manager for a large local CPA firm in San Francisco, CA, before taking off 10 years to raise a family.  She has been with Maggie Chow, CPA since January 2009.
